Abstract:
This study by Brunswick Labs was conducted to determine if apigenin is
bioavailable in rats after single oral administrations of JOBELYN®.
Plasma samples were collected at selected time points
up to 24 hr post-dose.Concentrations of
apigenin compound in plasma were determined by a LC/MS/MS method. The plasma concentration of apigenin reached
the maximum at 2 hr with mean values of 19.5 and 23.0 ng/mL for male and female
rats, respectively, indicating that apigenin was bioavailable after oral
administration.
A Herbal Powerful Nutritional Supplement : In Continuous and Widespread Use Since the ancient Egyptians
Jobelyn’s primary active ingredient is a concentrated extract drawn from the leaves of the Sorghum bicolor plant, first cultivated in Egypt in 3000 B.C. and is one of the most important cereal crops grown in the world today. An Antioxidant Goldmine, and much, Much More: - This once primitive herbal formula, now standardized (click for evidence) and marketed under the name Jobelyn, Stimulates the rapid production of red blood cells (hematinic) (see studies report). It’s also a powerful antioxidant.
- Plus, Jobelyn is brimming with proteins, minerals, carbohydrates and soluble fiber. (see lab report)
Jobelyn is one of the most powerful antioxidant and nutritional dietary supplements available! - Jobelyn contains a class of compounds that act like super oxide dismutase (SOD), which is a powerful enzyme and cellular antioxidant. It acts as a super scavenger of superoxide anions by ferreting out and destroying them throughout the body. The human body is often lacking SOD, thus the burden of defense often relies on intake of exogenous dietary antioxidants.
- Jobelyn was found to contain significant levels of antioxidant activities against peroxyl radicals, peroxylnitrite, hydroxyl radicals (known as NORAC and HORAC). Just like the superoxide anions, these human-cell killing species are known to be involved in the pathogenesis of aging and neurodegenerative diseases ( see laboratory evidences ). Preliminary studies on Jobelyn showed that it has anti-inflammatory properties as demonstrated through cox-1 and cox-2 assays. Animal studies have shown that Jobelyn is a safe product for human use ( see toxicology report ) An abstract paper presented at the CIMM2004 in Washington DC also illustrated the beneficial effect for People Living with HIV (see abstract)
Jobelyn is certified by Brunswick Laboratories as being rich in Proanthocyanidins, ORAC, Phenolic Compounds and Anthocyanins, Click to see Brunswick Certification

FROM THE DESK OF MR. FEMI KUSA
Mr. Femi Kusa
JOBELYN has been well researched at the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos, at the University of Benin, the Military Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, and by leading laboratories in Germany and the United States. Originally presented as a remedy for all cases of anemia, especially in sickle sell crisis, Jobelyn has found increasing clinical uses in arthritis, hypertension, stroke, HIV/AIDS and diabetes therapies, to mention a few disease conditions that this product may help. Nigerian laboratory experiments replicated abroad show that Jobelyn raises blood haematocrit by as high as 14 per cent within 24 hours, making it the fastest blood replenisher in the world. So fast does it work that it has been described in some medical circles as a possible alternative to blood transfusion! A presentation made to a world conference of military hospitals held in Betheseda, United States, in 2004 by the Nigerian Military Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, of its research findings suggests that Jobelyn helps people living with HIV/AIDS better than the protocols of orthodox medicine.
Currently, Jobelyn is now well rated in the United States as a high anti-oxidant herbal product. If we recall that free radicals are implicated in about 500 disease conditions and that anti-oxidants prevent or reverse them, Jobelyn must, indeed, be an indispensable herbal remedy for the family herbal medicine chest. In my experience of counseling people who are often stressed up, tired or fatigued, such as women after the monthly cycle, commercial motorcyclists or other physically and mentally active people, I have found that the problem, often, is with the quality of the blood, that many people have poorly composed blood and low blood counts without realizing it, and that one capsule of Jobelyn every day or every other day makes a lot of difference to their energy level, work capacity, productivity and even reproductive and social lives.

JOBELYN PRESENTED AT THE KADUNA CONFERENCE OF NIGERIA
MEDICAL ASSOCIATION
For the second year running,
Health Forever Product Limited presented Jobelyn as a wellness product to a
very large audience at the Scientific Conference of the Nigeria Medical
Association Scientific Conference which took place in Kaduna on April 24, 2008.
Making the presentation is Dr. David Abia-Okon, the Medical Director of
Lindabel Medical Centre, Lawanson, Surulere, Lagos.
Jobelyn was presented as the
most researched food supplement in Nigeria. According to Dr. Abia-Okon, Jobelyn
is the only locally produced supplement being prescribed by orthodox medical
practitioners in Nigeria. It is also the only medicinal product being allowed
to be marketed in USA.
I was born in the middle of the second world war when my country, Nigeria, was under the colonial rule of Great Britain. My grandfather died in 1946 when I was 4 years old, but I could still recollect the occasions when grand dad used to come home with some herbs in his native raffia hand bag. I was later to understand that the herbs were for malaria fever and it was later found to be growing in the bushes around our house. By the time I was 5 years old, I had already started schooling in my native village, Ilese, OgunState of Nigeria. At this time, orthodox medical establishments have started flourishing in the western part of Nigeria. I was aware that there was a GeneralHospital at Ijebu-Ode which was then the divisional headquarters in my area. In spite of the available facility, my late father, Mr. Richard Ayodele Okubena still continued to treat us with the malaria herbal medicine which he inherited from my grandfather. By the time I was 7 years old, I was able to identify this herb at the bush behind our house. The herbs were normally boiled with water for the extraction of the juice and it was indeed very bitter that we were always compelled with the cane to drink a big cup of the herb anytime there was an attack of malaria. Usually, the attack of malaria was accompanied with rigour and severe joint pains all over the body but this remedy which was usually cooked in the early evening and taken early in the night, was diuretic. Victims of malaria after this treatment would usually urinate four to six times during the night and by morning all signs and symptoms of the disease would have disappeared by the following morning.
As I grew older, I became aware that there were more herbs than the traditional malaria herb known to my family. In my village, there were traditional herbal healers and traditional birth attendants. I remember very vividly that all my brothers and sisters, born between 1942 and 1955 were all born at home with the assistance of a traditional birth attendant, even though the GeneralHospitalwith a maternity ward facilities were in existence. Traditional herbal practitioners usually kept a data base for all the remedies known to them. Many of them were uneducated and I recollect that I had the opportunity of assisting some of these people in updating their data base by either recording new remedies in their note books or reading from old records to refresh their memory as the need arose.

A Dart at Cancer- Tell Magazine Cover Story Monday Jan. 28, 2008 Treatment for cancer is not restricted to orthodox medicine as many around the world have begun to embrace the unorthodox methods. There is also Jobelyn, which is produced in Ikeja, Lagos by Health Forever Products Limited. It has been used as a food supplement for acute myeloid leukaemia patients since 1998, according to Olajuwon Okubena, managing director of the company. He added that there have been testimonies from users of the drug that it alleviates pains associated with cancer. Another testimony was from Niyi Owoyomi, father of a 26-year-old leukaemia patient whose ailment had defied chemotherapy and who was on the verge of receiving a bone marrow transplant. He came to Nigeria from America to procure the drug for his son and returned four or five months afterwards to say that his son had been discharged from hospital as a result of complete remission. Apart from leukaemia, the supplementhad also been used to treat Hodgkin’s lymphoma, breast cancer and prostrate enlargement. For full story Read
